New products are coming soon!
Our vision is to create all things beautiful by empowering our local artisans. Having lived abroad for many years, I noticed we create fabulous designs and products in India that mostly cater to Indian tastes. I felt the need to fill the gap and create products with a wider market in mind by bringing in international tastes and styles. We have the manpower and with a little guidance and motivation we can change the major shift in perception of local and foreign made products by maintaining standards with quality control. We intend to convince you that, Indian is also beautiful and stylish and made with love by our very own local people.
All our Bed Linen is completely handmade by village artisans, mostly women. The Kantha stitch is traditional to the state of Bengal, located in the North Eastern part of India. The traditional Kantha (running stitch) is usually done in various designs using layers of cloth only. We at Beraru, have taken the Kantha stitch to a different level by using the Kantha stitch with a layer of poly filling. The skill of creating a Kantha comforter with poly filling is new and unique to Beraru. The art of ensuring each running stitch through the poly filling remains uniform, requires utmost care and attention to detail. The quilt is first printed with a design and is then quilted upon. They are made with 3 layers of Cotton Cambric fabric and poly filling which is lightweight and easy to maintain.
We manufacture and specialise in Quilted and Non Quilted Bedcovers, Comforters and Cushion covers. We customise to size on any of the designs we have and also to colour with certain limitations due to avaliability.
We cater to Bulk/ Wholesale orders. All we need is an email with your requirements.
Having worked in the Home Decor industry I can also suggest ideas and combinations to suit your needs.
We are a GST registered company and also have an Export Licence to cater to exports.
Our bags are again, completely handmade in leather , faux leather and fabric. The entire bag from its initial production stages to finish is made using hand driven machines. We are proud of the finish we maintain through handmade products.
